Magic Training
12-week strength training plan that treats the legs as a specialty: three lower-body sessions a week against two upper-body ones. The difficulty of training legs three times is not the effort but the recovery — so the three days attack different patterns instead of repeating the same workout. Monday is the heavy knee-dominant day with barbell squat, leg press and Bulgarian split squat. Tuesday comes right after and is deliberately the day with no spinal loading: hip thrust, leg curl, lunge and abduction build glutes and hamstrings while the quads and lower back rest from the day before. Thursday brings the heavy hinge in the deadlift with the front squat as a complement, and arrives with forty-eight hours off since Tuesday. Wednesday and Friday are upper-body days split by vector — horizontal push and pull midweek and vertical on Friday — so that each upper-body muscle group gets two weekly stimuli while taking up only two sessions. Saturday and Sunday are rest, and the legs go three full days without training before starting again on Monday. Progression is dual: sets rise by landmarks across each block, and the load goes up when the rep range is completed on all sets. There are three three-week blocks with deloads in weeks 4 and 8, hypertrophy intensifiers allowed only in the final block and an assessment in week 12. An honest warning: three leg days only pay off with sleep and food in order — without them the volume becomes fatigue, not muscle.
